Our Board of Directors
The Board of Directors for Homeowners Association #5 has five resident board members alternately elected at our July Annual Meeting. It is a volunteer group of homeowners with general knowledge and understanding of the Association's daily operations. They work together for the current and future benefit of our residents. Again, we are a volunteer body and encourage each resident to take part. Ed Stanley
Ed and Ann purchased here in March 2015. Ed was treasurer 2015 - 2018 and president 2018 - current. When he is not working in his wood shop, Ed loves to golf with the members of the Summerfield Men's Golf Club (SMGC). There is also a Summerfield Woman's Golf Club (SWGC).
Claire Frye
Claire has served as secretary since 2016. She has worked for accountants, lawyers and tool manufacturing representatives. After retirement she moved to Summerfield with her husband Peter. During her spare time she knits, takes long walks and loves visiting with her grand kids.
Ann Stanley
Ann has been Landscape Vice President starting in 2017 and has made many improvements to the beauty of our townhomes. Ann and her husband Ed moved to Summerfield in 2015. Ann also likes to spends time with her children and grandchildren as often as possible.
Ellen Brown
Ellen moved into Summerfield in 2014. In addition to her leadership roles at her church, she loves spending time in training classes with her pup Gracie. Her two grown children live in California and visits them as often as possible
Larry Blanchard
Larry became the landscape Vice President in 2020, and has brought many years of experience in construction to the position. He and wife Judy moved here in 2014. When not involved in HOA business he enjoys restoring an antique Bentley.
The following positions are not members of the Board but are an integral part of the functioning of the Association.
Peter Frye
Assistant to the Maintenance VP and Webmaster
Peter serves in two capacities for HOA #5. He helps with maintenance projects as well as providing his expertise in web design from his years in the technology industry. He and wife Claire moved to Summerfield in 2016.
Frances Jewel
Neighborhood Watch Coordinator
Frances greets all new owners and interacts with current owners providing necessary information on disaster preparedness. She is vigilant about watching neighbors’ homes and encourages all owners to do the same. She also monitors all residents to make sure they are being well taken care of.
